MY WEDDING DRESS IS IN!!!!  I got a postcard in the mail friday.  I went to Nordstrom’s today with my mom to look for a long line bra and maybe spanx.  I needed to get sized for a new bra anway.  I like shopping, but hate bra shopping.  My number went down (Yah!) but the cup went up (Boo!).  I’ve gone from a 42C to a 40D.    I wish I was a B.  I’d love to small enough where I didn’t have to wear a bra ’cause I wouldn’t.  I wish I could give some of it to my mom.  She’s about an A, how this happened to me I don’t know.  They didn’t have any strapless in my size.  We looked around at the ornaments after looking at the underthings.  They have the German blown-glass kind.  They have a red double decker bus!  They also have a Santa standing next to Big Ben with a suitcase that says London!  They had a couple other London and Paris ones.  My mom is going to tell my brother that it be a good gift for us.  We then went to Sephora.  The first time for both of us.  I got a Bare Minereals kit for eyes and my mom got the basic kit (which I have).   Now I’ll know how to do eye-makeup…maybe.  I’ll certainly try.  I’m so not girlie when it comes to makeup and hair.  We went to visit my brother at his studio after leaving the Providence Place Mall.  He showed me a few new products he’s working on.  We interigated him about Christmas gifts.  He said he’s not being difficult on purpose.  He’s been like this since he was little.  I sent him a comment yesterday saying I’m going to get him a “Bill Cosby” sweater if he wasn’t helpful.  It was suppose to be a threat, but it didn’t work.  He said he’d wear the sweater.  I showed him what I was doing for the scarf.  He liked it.  I just need to make it about an inch wider.  I’m okay with that.  I only did 13 rows and Comfort frogs well.

I invited my mom up to see our Vivid Christmas Tree.  Her comment “Yeah, that is vivid.”  She was didn’t realize we got a white one.  The star entertained her too.  She noticed “Leon” and said “Oh geez, you have Leon.”  I said “It’s not Christmas without Leon.”  She seemed amused by our decorating, particularly the tree, esp. the Darth Vader ornament (he talks).  She also helped me with my Spa Socks.  The first one is now in the round!  I’ll be coming to the heel flap soon.  She also showed me how to attach pompoms and helped with the Ribbed For Her Pleasure Scarf (bamboo yarn, k2p2).  Moms are so helpful.

So, tomorrow I will be mailing my swap pals package and going to the mall and look at Lane Bryant and Frederick’s for bras.  Now I know what size I am. 

Because my hand has been bothering me so much lately I’m reconcidering doing the Clapotis for my shawl.  I’m thinking of just doing it on like size 10 needles and doing a k2tog, yo kinda thing.  Something really easy and not to time consuming.  Things are taking me a lot longer than they use to, so I just don’t know if I’ll get the Clapotis done in time.  I can only knit for about 10-15minutes, even with the glove on.
