My husband Harry and I live in Rhode Island. When I learned to knit I discovered I have an allergy to wool, hence the name of my blog. I have a wide variety of interests including but not limited to knitting, sewing, photography, old movies (hello Cary Grant nice to see ya), bad movies, a bit of a geek and I am considered a crazy cat lady amongst our friends.
I’m a life long New Englander who hates seafood, Winter and the snow, but loves being so close to the ocean.
We had a house fire on December 10, 2011. We lost almost everything including one of the cats. Our other one died about a month later. We are now in a nice place with our new cat, Cole, who was in a shelter for almost three years. He lost his tail in 2008 (which happens to be two weeks before Harry and I got married) when he got hit by a car. We’re all adjusting to our new lives together.
