I live in RI with my husband, Harry,  and our two cats, Dante and Isabella.  I do photography, knitting, general craftiness and sewing as my creative outlets.  When I learned to knit I discovered I have an allergy to wool, hence the name of my blog.  I like to watch movies, read, listen to music, hang with friends, going for walks, baking and good cupa coffee. 

I’m not knitting to much these days, as my tendonitis has been an issue.  I started really getting back into photography when I started Project 365 in 2008.

 Random things about myself (this will be on going as I think of other things)….

1. I’ve been the same height since Fifth/Sixth grade.

2. If I have to choose between something with chocolate or fruit, I will pick fruit almost everytime.

3. I will leave a package of Peeps open for about three days before I eat them.

4. I was homeschooled for second grade.

5. Raised as a lacto-vegetarian, but have memories of going to McDonald’s.  Hmm….

6. As a child I was fascinated with store bought pre-sliced white bread ’cause my mom made bread every week…she even made her own tofu.

7.  I love Thai, Vitamense and Indian food, but I can’t handle spicyness.

8. I remember the day my dad told be John Lennon died.

9. I remember seeing Star Wars (episode 3) in a movie theatre.

10. I LOVE the smell of Indian food, but can’t eat most of it because I can’t handle spicy food.

11. If I were an animal I’d be a Panda according to my husband, but I think I’d be a housecat.  ETA:  Yeah, I’d be a Panda.

12. My favourite Thai dish is Pad See Ew.

13. I highly detest most Mexican food.

14.  After most of my life hating soup, I am starting to like it.  I love Pho, French Onion soup, and Missie’s Harvest Soup.  My FIL makes a really good Chicken Noodle. 

15. I started driving at age 23.

16. Carol Burnett and I have the same birthday.

17. My mom is the oldest of seven and my dad was an only.  I have 20 first cousins on my mom’s side. 

18. I collect Barbies, mostly the Silkstone.

19. When I was a baby my parents took me too Old Sturbridge Village and Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman were there.  Joanne remarked at how cute of a baby I was and Paul said “Umph”.

20. I’m a geek.

21. I have one brother, two years younger than me.

22. I still don’t know how to use a curling iron.  I’m inept when it comes to a lot of girlie stuff.

23.  Some of favourite people are cats. 

22.  I’m a bit of an Anglophile.  I remember being in 5th grade and deciding to spell certain words with a “u”.  ETA: I also put a slash mark through my sevens like my dad did, which is European from what I understand.

23.  I prefer even numbers.  I hate odd numbers so much, I made sure that our wedding date was an even number.

24.  I’m a Taurus, and a pretty typical one at that (stubborn).

25.  I grew up in Massachusetts.

26.  There were about 85 people in my highschool graduating class, and that was between two towns.

27. I hate seafood.  The only things I’ll eat are canned tuna (alborcore), clam cakes (around here they are actually quohog) and red clam chowder and even then I’m picking out the clams.

28.  I live in New England and hate the cold and snow.  My husband likes the cold.

29.  I have several phobias including: heights, close spaces, ballons popping in my face, sharks, snakes, and spiders.
