I’ve had two sales in about two days!  That brings my total up to four different buyers!  Wooo!  I’m thinking if the shop does well through the holidays that next year I will plan a little better and work on having stuff more toward this time of year.  We shall see.

I’m slightly curious about Twilight.  I wonder what all the hoopla is about.  However, I just can’t bring myself to read or watch it knowing that the vampires sparkle.  What the crap is that about?! 

I’m not sure about the pink hair.  I’m thinking of going back to a more natural hair colour.  We shall see.

Our friends Derrick and Nicki got married on October 10th.  If you’ve been paying attention, that is SEVEN DAYS after my cousin Will’s!  What a crazy week that was, between the two weddings and dog-sitting.  I’ve finally got around to editing some photos.  I am also posting a few that Harry took.

That videographer was there the whole time, so I pretty much missed everything!  That kinda pissed me off.  He should have been somewhere else and less conspicuous.

Sometime after our wedding, Nicki had asked me for the name of our florist.  I was so excited to find out that they went with Glimpse of Gaia!  Stephanie and Sean once again did an amazing job.

We sat with Nick and his girlfriend.  Harry and I refer to Nick as Harry’s Aquarian Accomplice.

Missie also made D and Nicki’s caketopper!

She did an amazing job as always!  I love her attention to detail such as matching the brides dress to her actual dress and making the people look like the couple.  (I apologize for the blurry photo.  I was trying not to use my flash unless it was necessary.)

Nothing quite like taking a walk on a chilly Autumn day.  My ears and face are cold, but the rest of me is warm.  I have a cup of hot tea waiting for me. 

The guy that lives in the brightly coloured teal house on Prospect Street was outside so I stopped to chat with him, while on my walk. He showed me the few Toad Lily flowers he had. Very cool looking! I should have taken a photo of it, but didn’t. Here’s an image I found on Flickr of one.  He was a very nice guy and seemed to appreciate me stopping to talk to him about his garden and house.  I told him how I love his garden and that it changes with the seasons.  I also told him how I love that he went with the fun bright and traditional Victorian colours for painting his house.  We had a discussion about how not to many people realize that the Victorians did crazy colours on their houses.  He said he has recieved hate mail because of it!  Can you imagine?!  Some people have no clue. 

Well, my tea must have fully steeped by now and I don’t want it to get too cold.

I did end up buying some pink hairdye a few weeks ago.  I have not done it yet.  For the past week or so I’ve been thinking of not doing it.  I keep thinking that I’m too old, etc, etc, etc.  Harry said to go for it.  I have no job, or major commitment where it would be a hinderence.  I’ve bought the product, so I am going to do it, I just don’t know how long I’ll keep it.

I will not be posting the photos I shared for our Creative Circle 5 on sunday.  They are secret….for now.  ^_~

I started to write a poem a few months ago about summer (doesn’t that feel like it was forever ago?) that I need to work on.  I’m not big on writing like that (I think of it as Harry’s thing), but occasionally the mood strikes.  This morning while sitting on the porch enjoying my breakfast (I hadn’t done that in forever!), I wrote some stuff down.  Once I feel confident enough, I will share.

I’ve been slacking about my daily walking and/or yoga.  I need to get back into it.  I’ve felt a bit out of sorts for the last couple of months.  We had the weddings, Halloween parties and Harry was on vacation last week.  I just need to get back into the swing of things.  Thanksgiving is in a few weeks and then it will Christmas time.  Ugh.

I feel so far behind on posting photos, but I wonder if it’s even worth it.  It feels like noone (except for occasionally Harry and Liz) read this.  I try to make this interactive, for people to feel free to comment, etc., but it just doesn’t seem to be working.

 I used the “Vampire Eyes” tool on www.picnik.com to make my eyes creepy looking.  I had asked Harry to take a few photos of me before I went to my friend’s Greek themed Halloween party.  I went as a Greek widow, but I kinda look like a gyspy here (except for the eyes).
