Day 30
Relax

We had our first al fresco meal of the year this afternoon. So nice.
Last day of this years photo challenge. It was fun doing this with Harry. It was nice having someone to bounce ideas off of or help with a particular shot if needed. I plan on doing a 30 Day Photo Challenge next year, so do stay tuned for that. In the meantime, I’ll be attempting to do WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge along with my usual postings.
In Motion
I have a bonus for today as well.
Thanks to Harry for suggesting the idea of swinging on a swing. What I initially was trying, was not coming out and I was getting frustrated. It was a little hard holding the camera, trying not to drop it, and swinging at the same time. I’m pretty happy with what came out.
My Shoes
I have never worn shoes in the house. Harry does not either. So we keep the shoes we are currently wearing out in the hall. Every week or so I do straighten out my giant pile and put away ones I don’t think I’ll be wearing. I’m not a shoe person as shown by my flip-flops and sneakers. I got the Skele-toes fairly recently and I’m loving them. They fit me like a glove and feel good on my back (I prefer being barefoot so it’s a nice happy medium). They are a four-toed style from Fila called Amp. They are great for walking on rocks and such. I can see why so many of the people on Ninja Warrior (Japanese and American versions, yeah, we’re fans) wear them.
I have a bonus for today. Skele-toes enjoying the ocean view at Beavertail yesterday.
Ah Spring. I love this time of year. Maybe because my birthday is at the end of the month. Maybe because it means no more cold weather, snow, dreary grey skies and more sunshine (yay vitamin D!), everything is budding and nature is alive again.
Um, what?
While at the bike path I noticed some interesting graffiti.
On the way home I drove by the mill buildings that are being torn down. It makes so sad to see it. Woonsocket is slowly loosing it’s character. These buildings were huge and had been standing there for over one hundred years. For what I know, there are no plans for the space once the buildings are gone. This is where Gian Carlo’s restaurant used to be. :(
PS-
Dear Mother Nature,
We could really use some rain.
