Scrumptious Strawberry Salad

Here’s a quick delicious salad.  I think it would also be nice with some grilled chicken added to make it an entree.

Mixed Greens

Red Seedless Grapes

Strawberries, sliced

Pecans (I used the pre-chopped kind.)

Pecorino Romano, sliced (It’s what we had.  If you don’t have any, Parmesan would work just as well.)

homemade Balsamic Vinaigrette

Since it’s a salad and I made it up, there are no measurements.   I used a vegtable peeler to get nice sized slices of the cheese.   I left the grapes whole since they are bite size.

We had our first Creativity Circle this past sunday with Missie and Dickie.  Nick was out of state visting his girlfriends family.  The photos from this salad were just a few that I showed.

This is the photo that got picked out of about five that I had of the salad.  Dixon said “It looks like it’s from a cook book”, which I think is the nicest thing anyone could have said.  Thank you everyone for your input!

    I don’t like Romano,
and I still think that looks delicious…mmmm

*inspired, goes off to build a post-work salad*

You probably don’t have much cheese in the house ’cause of Matt, but I think Parm. or any kind of cheese would work well, except for “Basement Cheese”.
