Gettin’ ready for T-Day

I’ve pretty much decided on doing pumpkin ice cream and an apple-cranberry galette for desserts on Thanksgiving.  The good thing with those desserts, I can make them ahead.   The ice cream can be done whenever and the galette I can do the day before.  I’ve asked Harry to make the bacony turkey we did our first year at this apartment (I think it’s an Emeril recipe).  Everyone really liked the stuffing we did last year so I think that’s the one we’ll make for now on.  I know it’s my favourite.  It involves sausage and apples.  I’ve discovered that I’m a big fan of apples in my stuffing.  Now to figure out the side dishes.

Luckily I’ve never had this happen….

As a side note…What the heck?
