doc appt, part 2

I had a doc appt about a month ago.  Today I went for my “innie” exam (I was starting my period the last time).  God, I hate that.  At least there were no metal instruments used.  I STILL have to go for blood work.  The only thing I’m worried about is possibly being pre diabetic.  I’ll finally be able to find out how anemic I am, so that’ll be good.  I’m not as short as I’ve always thought!  I’m not just 5’4″….I’m 5 feet 4 & 3/4 inches!  I can say I’m 5’5″!!  This is very exciting.  Every little bit counts.  :)  Also, I’ve lost 3 lbs. since my last appt!  Woo.  It’s not much, but it’s something.  Last time I forgot to mention my hand, so today I did.  She has set up an appt with neurologist (?) to look at my hands.  I might get some type of shot.  I never had that three years ago when I first got injured, just PT.  It’s a start.  So we shall see.

  1. Debbie R. says:

I had the cortizone shot in my hand after developing a nasty form of tendonitis in my thumb where it connects to your hand. The first one didn’t work that great. The second one was great.

Also, there is a therapy place in Cranston that just does hand injuries. They are located in the same building as the Cranston Main Post Office. It’s at the back of the stores in Garden City. That’s who finally helped my wrist and hand after I broke it.
